Johanne Pelletier is a master storyteller and Director of Public Engagement (Communications) at Concordia University. She teaches storytelling to scientists and startups and when not talking storytelling she performs in Canada and the United States. Her work has been published and broadcast, with stories focused on boxing (she is a boxing official), IKEA trips, a love hate relationship with hot yoga, why she loves Dua Lipa, aging and chosen family. She is the winner of the US based GRIT 99-Second Story Grand Slam and is the first Canadian storyteller to have her work featured on the PBS series Stories From the Stage. Her new project is Good Gynecology, a story show creating awareness and conversation around women's health.
Kiara is a breakout star from Season 1 of Canada's Drag Race, where her Lip Sync for Your Life to Céline Dion's I Drove All Night became one of the most iconic moments in Drag Race history. Beyond the show, Kiara has performed at major events like Montréal Pride’s Drag Superstars and also ventured into music, releasing her bilingual single "Straight to Your Heart," and appearing in Cœur de pirate's music video "T’es belle."
Our emcee for the evening, Tranna Wintour, is a dynamic bilingual comedian, singer, writer, and producer. Recognized as a Just For Laughs’ New Faces Canada and one of Fashion magazine’s queens of Canadian comedy, Tranna's star power surged on Québec’s Big Brother Célébrités, where she became the breakout sensation. She co-hosted the acclaimed CBC Podcast Chosen Family and released her debut album, Safe From Your Affection. Currently, Tranna is working on an original comedy series with a major Canadian broadcaster.
