The primary goal of the event is to connect Concordia and external engineering students, PhDs, and researchers directly with leading companies in Québec's electrical and green tech industries to bridge the gap between academic research and professional career opportunities. By bringing together industry pioneers from organizations like PLP Canada, the Association de l'industrie électrique du Québec (AIEQ), and the Next-Generation Cities Institute (NGCI), the event aims to facilitate face-to-face networking in a casual setting. Ultimately, it serves as a recruitment and educational platform where students can discover cutting-edge innovations in hydroelectricity, renewable energy, and smart grids, while exploring available internships and post-graduate roles.
