La Rentrée Concordia 2026

On Thursday, September 10, the FOFA Gallery and the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery invite you to celebrate the opening of their new fall exhibitions. Three exhibitions, two galleries, only one evening.

Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery | from 4:30 p.m.

Join us at the Ellen Gallery for a guided tour of FOODWAYS with curator Zoë Chan, followed by an opening reception until 7 p.m. Enjoy themed bites and meet several of the artists featured in the exhibition.

FOFA Gallery | from 5 p.m.

Celebrate the opening of two new exhibitions: The Earth We Carry, curated by Hanss Lujan Torres and featuring artists Skawennati, Taylor McAthur, Destiny Chescappio, Moe Clark, Amanda Lickers, & Kite, presented in the Main Space and Black Box; and Kandis Friesen’s solo exhibition, Where you have not first of all to uproot a whole forest, presented in the York Vitrines and outdoor courtyard.

Rendez-vous à la GLBE pour une visite de PRATIQUES ALIMENTAIRES, en compagnie de la commissaire Zoë Chan, suivie d’une réception d’ouverture jusqu’à 19 h. Au programme : bouchées thématiques et rencontres avec plusieurs des artistes de l’exposition.
