The Concordia University Part-time Faculty Association (CUPFA) is pleased to invite you to the closing night of "flat works on the wall, sculptures down the centre" at the MFA Gallery in the Visual Arts Building, on Friday, July 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This summer group show features artwork created by faculty members teaching part-time in the Faculty of Fine Arts, including work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and performance. The exhibition is curated by second-year MFA student Ioana Dragomir.

Gabriela Petrov and Habitat Practice Group will be performing in the gallery from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. creating an improvised performance piece inspired by the gallery space, artworks, and audience.

This CUPFA sponsored event offers an occasion for students, faculty and staff to see first-hand the work of some of the artists teaching at Concordia, with an opportunity to engage in conversations around the artwork with friends and colleagues, and to celebrate together this summer. Refreshments will be provided.

The MFA Gallery is located in VA-102, 1395 Boul. René Lévesque W., Montréal, QC H3G 2M5. The gallery will also be open to the public during the day, Tuesday to Friday, from 12 - 5 pm.
