Daniel Forgues Fellowship: inauguration of public artwork

Join us to celebrate and unveil the public artwork Là où le temps prend racine by Juliana Delgado-Theophanides and Anita Lourié.

All at once sculpture, public space furniture, gathering place, and a manifesto of eco-responsibility, the work reflects the core values of the Louvain Ecoquartier: sustainability, inclusion, education, and social connection.

This event marks the first iteration of the Daniel Forgues Art, Engineering and Environment Scholarship Program, which will run for 5 years. This is a collaboration between ÉTS, Concordia University, the Louvain Écoquartier and the City of Montreal, specifically the Louvain Écoquartier and the Entente de développement culturel.

Come celebrate and meet this new addition to the neighborhood's cultural and community landscape. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The general public is welcome!

À la fois sculpture, mobilier pour l’espace public, lieu de rassemblement et manifeste d'éco-responsabilité, l'œuvre relève les valeurs fondamentales de l’Écoquartier Louvain : durabilité, inclusion, éducation et lien social.

Cet événement marque la première itération du Programme de bourses Daniel Forgues en art, ingénierie et environnement qui s’étendra sur une période de 5 ans. Ceci est une collaboration entre l’ÉTS, l’Université Concordia, l’Écoquartier Louvain et la Ville de Montréal, spécifiquement l’écoquartier Louvain et l’Entente de développement culturel.

Venez fêter et rencontrer cette nouvelle addition au paysage culturel et communautaire du quartier. Des collations et rafraîchissements seront offerts. Le public au large est le bienvenue.
