Three generations. One room. What happens when we really talk with one another? What happens when we listen?
Hosted by Seung Eun Cha (21), Erin Brubacher (46), and Anne Wessels (71), "There Is So Much More To Say" is an intimate, one-of-a-kind performance created together with the people in the room. Through personal stories, improvisation, conversation, craft and play, three artists spanning six decades invite the audience into an encounter with each other. What happens depends on everyone who is present.
“A powerful experience that felt very sacred and special… This artwork creates an instant community.” - Audience Member
For this one-time Montréal performance, undergraduate students from Concordia University will share the room with local seniors. CINARS delegates, many likely to find themselves somewhere between these two generations, will complete the audience.
An experience that answers the call of collective longing and a social hesitation of our time.
Spaces are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 20 spaces available for students, 20 spaces available for Seniors, and 10 spaces available for those in between (26-64)
There Is So Much More To Say is created and performed by Erin Brubacher, Seung Eun Cha, and Anne Wessels, with support from collaborators Sara Constant, Janet Morton, Andrea Nann, and Reza Nik. Public funding for the arts is essential. This presentation is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council.
