Math Beyond the Numbers: An EDI Panel Discussion aims to showcase the significance of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in STEM fields, with a particular focus on mathematics and statistics.

Join us as we challenge the traditional perception of mathematics as a purely serious subject. Featuring a drag queen host, a guest speaker, and a diverse panel, this event promises an engaging and entertaining atmosphere. By presenting mathematics in a fun and accessible way, Math Beyond the Numbers aspires to reach a wider audience and emphasize the importance of EDI in STEM, specifically in the field of mathematics.

After the panel discussion there will be networking period and a showcase of math-related art pieces created by an undergraduate student in the field!

Make sure to stick around until the end of the event for a chance to win one of our door prizes!
