Dreaming of a trip to Japan? As the weather gets colder in Montreal, imagine a getaway to Japan and join us for a travel-themed Japanese Immersion Session focused on one of the most useful skills for any traveler: counting in Japanese!
From reading prices and shopping to ordering food and understanding directions, numbers are everywhere in Japan. Through interactive activities, role-plays, and guided conversations, you'll build confidence using Japanese numbers in real-life situations.
In collaboration with immersionjaponais, the Concordia Japanese Language and Culture Community (JLCC) will host a Japanese immersion session on October 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (CSLP).
This is a two-hour immersion experience in which participants are encouraged to speak only Japanese.
Led by Japanese speakers, the session aims to build spontaneity, confidence, and a supportive environment where learners can take risks, make mistakes, and learn from one another.
It is recommended for beginner to intermediate learners who want to develop practical Japanese skills they can immediately use while traveling.
