Curious about migration, refugees, or global movement? Come have lunch with researchers and grad students working in this field!
Institute of Research on Migration and Society (IRMS) promotes inclusive research on human migration through both disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches in the social sciences. A key partner in the national Migrant Integration in the Mid-21st Century: Bridging Divides initiative, IRMS explores themes such as citizenship, health, work, and urban futures.
The School of Community and Public Affairs (SCPA) offers interdisciplinary education in public policy, advocacy, First Peoples Studies, and community economic development, and is home to Immigration Studies, emphasizing community-engaged scholarship and real-world practice.
This is a relaxed, informal event where you can:
Whether you're just exploring or seriously considering a future in this area, this is a great chance to connect, ask questions, and see what migration research looks like in practice.
Free lunch is provided!
