Kit Dobson’s Field Notes on Listening is a response to our lack of connection to the land we call home, the difficult history of how many of us came to be here and what we could discover if we listened deeply to the world around us.

At this event Concordia graduate students Klara Du Plessis, Frances-Grace Fyfe, Alexandra Sweny, Miranda Eastwood, and Aaron Obedkoff will read aloud passages they have selected from Field Notes and engage Professor Dobson in conversation about questions of sound, listening, land, belonging, and the process of writing about these things.

You can register to attend this hybrid event via Zoom, or join us in person at Concordia!
