Ever wonder where ideas come from and if you can generate better ones?

Brian Collins has spent his career answering that question in real time. In this special edition of Flourish Fridays, Brian will introduce you to Creative Cross‑Pollination, the practical technique he has used throughout his career. As a Walt Disney Imagineer, he helped shape the stories behind some of the world’s most beloved attractions. Over the past thirty years he’s taught immersive design and emerging technologies, mentored hundreds of students and professionals, and consulted globally through his practice, The Brainstorm Institute.

Across all of those experiences, he noticed something surprising: the people who reliably generate great ideas aren’t unusually gifted, they’re using an innate technique that each of us carry…a way humans connect dots, whether in life or at work, known as Creative Cross-Pollination (CCP). CCP helps individuals spark new ideas, see fresh possibilities, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves. The implications are huge: if creativity is a natural process rather than a learned behavior, it becomes accessible to everyone: teachers, athletes, students, executives, or plumbers, as his book puts it.

Whether you're a student, a teacher, a coach, or someone simply committed to growth, CCP offers a way to reimagine your challenges, discover new pathways, and create meaningful momentum in your life and work. Don’t come shy either: Brian is asking you to bring your biggest fears, successes, questions, and curiosities to engage in a fun, lively discussion that is sure to be the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Flourish Friday event ever!
