New faculty orientation

September – the “real” new year - will soon be upon us: new classes, new students, new course outlines and new things to learn. As a new faculty member, this means you will likely be learning the ropes of a new job, getting to know new colleagues, navigating through departmental processes, starting new research, or even adapting to living in a new city.

New Faculty Orientation

The Centre for Teaching and Learning hosts a New Faculty Orientation to help you in your new role as faculty at Concordia University. The event takes place annually at the end of August.

At this event, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in round table discussions on a variety of teaching topics designed to help you start off the semester on the right foot.
  • Ask questions and share concerns or reflections on your new role.

Learn about the teaching resources and support that are available to you.

If you are new to Concordia and have not received an invitation or the agenda, please contact us.
