Elena Meyer

Elena Meyer is a trilingual journalist with a background in political science from McGill University and a graduate diploma in journalism from Concordia University.

Currently completing a master’s degree in journalism and digital innovation, she works as a researcher in the radio and TV newsrooms at Radio-Canada. She is also a freelancer for Le Devoir after completing a reporting internship there in the summer of 2025.

Passionate about arts, culture, and the evolving role of social media in journalism, Elena has developed a strong voice through audio storytelling. She has produced and hosted several podcasts, including The Sleepwalker on CKUT radio, which explores Montreal’s underground rave scene, and Festival Émergence, a podcast on emerging cinema. Her work reflects a commitment to covering underrepresented communities and experimenting with hybrid, immersive formats that bridge traditional journalism with digital innovation.
