COMMUNICATION & DIGITAL CAPABILITIES MODULE

We all have the potential to be assertive! This training workshop supports the strengthening of your “A” muscle by building on an earlier theory-driven Assertiveness workshop. In our time together, we will practice being assertive that feels right to you. Come prepared to share an instance where you would have liked to be more forward. Your personal story and awareness is the background for the rest of the session. We will develop ways of communicating that show assertiveness through the content said, body language and voice.  What can you expect? Be a little vulnerable, awareness of yourself, and reflections offered by a Life and professional coach and a Psychotherapist.

Facilitator:
Niem Huynh, PhD, PPCC & Patricia Paul, MEd, MSc A CFT

Niem: Geographer. Inquirer. Risk taker (calculated). Niem is an educator and geographer by training and applies those skills to her role at Concordia University. Niem's diverse professional experience working in different positions within the university and non-profit sectors has ignited her interest in how people navigate their career paths.

Patricia Paul is a Psychotherapist with training in integrative therapy, theories of education, and communications. She holds 15 years of combined experience in advising, animation, and intervention.
