Working from home while more flexible, can create a disconnect between colleagues. There are more opportunities now to miss the nuances of verbal and non-verbal communication, which makes understanding each other more difficult.
Join David Spinner, BA 98, MBA 16, as he discusses how to develop awareness of your individual communication styles and adapt to the styles of others by using the DYNAMIX® four-colour profile system.
In this online workshop, participants will learn:
- The four communication styles assessed by the DYNAMIX® psychometric test;
- How to assess their own communication style preferences and that of their colleagues, employees and managers to maximize the effectiveness of their communication;
- How to use this information in various contexts including job interviews, sending emails, giving presentations and feedback at work.
David Spinner is an educator in Social Services and a consultant specializing in Communication, Team Building and Leadership development. As a CEGEP teacher for the past 10 years he has taught courses in communication, crisis intervention and community development.
David brings his unique experience as a social worker and knowledge of psychology to his work as a consultant for Peak Performance 2, a firm focused on teaching individuals how to leveraging communication skills and styles to increase team and company morale and productivity. His passion lies in helping people to improve their professional and personal lives through enhanced communication and self-awareness.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1998), a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from McGill University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business.
