The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first term is.... You're not supposed to be good at everything on the first try. Real growth comes from trying, failing, adjusting and trying again. It is always better to attempt something ambitious than to never try at all.
A tip for a new student is... Put yourself out there. Study with friends, go to events, ask questions and say yes to opportunities. University becomes much more meaningful once you stop being afraid of looking inexperienced. Most importantly, make time for yourself, pursue your dreams and remember that you are the one in control of your future.
My favourite part of being a Concordia student is... the atmosphere of the campus and the people within it. Everyone is constantly learning, creating and pursuing their passions, which makes the environment feel incredibly inspiring, open minded and welcoming.
