Hi I’m MIdrar! I’m someone who finds joy in good food, spontaneous late-night walks and noticing the little things people often miss. I love learning new things, especially about people, and I’m always chasing that feeling of genuine connection.
The one thing I wished I would have known back in my first term is.... knowing how helpful the reading rooms in the Library would be, the silence did creep me out at times, but it's also the place where I get most of my work done
A tip for a new student is... as an international student, I like to think that I have had more hurdles to overcome. I believe that what got me through most of it was the connections I made. I would advise incoming students to make the most of the connections that Concordia can provide them with. There is always someone ready to help you at Concordia.
My favourite part of being a Concordia student is... Concordia is a place for everybody. It does not matter who you are or where you come from, Concordia has a place for you. My favourite part about being a student here is how diverse the community is, and how it beckons you to open yourself up to the success it brings you.
