Student associations & groups

Discover student groups that help you meet people, build skills and make the most of your time at Concordia.

Why get involved

Getting involved in student life is one of the best ways to make connections, develop new skills and become part of the Concordia community. Whether you're looking to explore a personal interest or make an impact on campus and beyond, you'll find plenty of opportunities among Concordia's 200+ student groups. There's something for everyone.

Student associations that represent you

When you become a Concordia student, you're automatically a member of the relevant associations below, which represent your interests and support your academic experience. Take advantage of their services, events and resources.

Student unions

Your student union advocates for your rights and interests. They offer services, resources and events that enrich student life.

Concordia Student Union

Represents all undergraduate students.

Graduate Students' Association

Represents all graduate students.

Program associations

Many departments and programs also have their own student associations. These groups help you connect with classmates, organize academic and social events, gain leadership experience and build relationships within your field of study.

Find groups based on your interests

Looking to try something new, meet people outside your program or support a cause you care about? Concordia's student-led groups bring together students with shared interests, passions and goals.

These groups are open to everyone and focus on things like:

  • Hobbies and creative pursuits
  • Culture and community
  • Social causes and advocacy
  • Events, activities and campus life

Whether you want to join a club, attend events or collaborate on a project, there’s a space for you.

How to join

Most groups welcome new members throughout the year. Visit a group's page to learn about membership, upcoming events and ways to participate.
