Climate Leadership Essentials

Overview

Designed to equip organizational leaders with a clear, step-by-step process for strategic climate transition, this course focuses on mapping your ecosystem and emissions, setting achievable reduction targets, and identifying mitigation strategies aligned with business goals. It also emphasizes the leadership skills required to mobilize teams, engage stakeholders, and drive meaningful, lasting change.

This course was created by Concordia University and the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal (CCMM) as part of convertgence. This initiative was co-developed by CCMM and BMO, with many partners including the Government of Quebec, to help companies accelerate their green transition strategies.

Course structure

This in-person course provides hands-on learning through interactive discussions and exercises that connect theory to real-world decision-making.

The 12-hour course is divided into four 3-hour modules.
