About the Residency Project

The project, “feminiality,” is a solo performance danced by Kaia Portner and choreographed by Kaia Mienna. The piece explores how bodies are read in dance spaces, with a specific focus on femininity and sensuality. “feminality,” works through preconceived notions about what femininity is, and what deconstructing femininity means, whilst considering how sensuality is often intertwined with feminine movement.
