Get involved

CWAHI is an informal nationwide network of scholars working together to create and share knowledge. Whether your research is regularly or only occasionally concerned with historical Canadian women artists, we would love to hear from you.

Sarah Robertson, The Red Sleigh

Here are some of the ways that scholars are participating in the Initiative:

  • Participating in conferences

  • Keeping us updated on relevant research and events

  • Donating files

  • Contributing to our database

  • Registering for our mailing list

  • Proposing and organizing new activities

Students interested in research on historical Canadian women artists are actively welcomed to become involved with our activities.  We have volunteering opportunities that offer training in research methods and sources and experience organizing projects and events. Our Documentation Centre provides a valuable resource for developing and researching essays and graduate theses. We welcome contributions of material at the end of your research projects.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss these or any other ideas further.
