2026-2027 AFE Application

Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are open! Please make sure that you are fully registered in all your classes and please note that waitlisted classes do not count as part of your course load.

Thinking about applying to AFE? Now is the time to submit an application for 2026-2027. Applications for the upcoming academic year have opened and can be submitted electronically by creating a profile on the AFE website: https://www.quebec.ca/en

It is faster to submit an application online.

To complete your application, you will need the following information:

  • Your permanent code (comprised of 4 letters and 8 digits). If you do not have a permanent code, make sure you apply for one.  
  • Your social insurance number.
  • The codes for your educational institution and your program of study. Concordia’s institution code is: 980000. Program codes can be found here: https://www.concordia.ca/students/financial/loans/quebec.html#program
  • Your income or an estimate of your income for the year (from January 1 to December 31).
  • Once you submit your application, you will be provided with a list of required documents, if applicable. Documents must be submitted via your online AFE account within 45 days of your application.

If this is your first time applying for Quebec financial assistance, you’ll need a Guarantee Certificate.

If you happen to register late or your enrollment has not been confirmed, send us an email to fundingyoureducation@concordia.ca once your registration is complete so that we can review your file.
