Update as of 5:32 p.m. June 26:

The power failure that affected buildings on the Loyola campus has been resolved. The Vanier Library is open for study until 10 p.m. All services will resume tomorrow (Thursday, June 27) at 9 a.m.

The following classes on June 26 have been cancelled:

5:45 p.m. - PHYS 205-60 Electricity and Magnetism (Hingston Hall B 130)

6:30 p.m. - AHSC-330-50 Leadership/Facilitation (Vanier Extension 326)

Update as of 3:16 p.m. on June 26: 

The Vanier Library is closed.

A power failure occurred today, June 26, at Concordia’s Loyola Campus, affecting most buildings on both sides of Sherbrooke Street West as well as a large part of the surrounding Notre-Dame-de-Grace neighbourhood.

Concordia University emergency personnel are on the scene. The university has been informed by Hydro-Quebec that power will be restored as soon as possible.
