Students enrolled in the Department of Art History's Professor Erin Silver's course, ARTH 398S: Significant 'Others': Queer Partnerships in Art & Art-Making spent the semester developing written and creative projects in collaboration with a team of queer artist mentors in Montreal and Toronto.

A small group of students in the class worked in a curatorial capacity as the QP Collective, presented Queer Partnerships: Two Weeks at the VAV, a fascinating exhibition which ran from November 26 - December 7, 2012, and showcased the works done by ARTH 398S students throughout the semester.

Mirroring the theme of the course, the exhibition examined the diverse intersections at which queer relationships, partnerships, mentorships, collaborations, collectives, couplings, and trouplings meet artistic practice. Below are two photographs by Clinton Glenn, an Art History student who established a curatorial blog associated with the exhibition.
