|

THE FINE ARTS READING ROOM IS LOOKING FOR AN ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE

PLEASE APPLY WITH:

  • 1 page project description
  • A detailed budget
  • 5 images or writing samples
  • A CV
  • An artist statement

COULD THIS BE YOU?

A Fine Arts Reading Room resident is a self-directed, self-motivated artist or art historian currently enrolled in Concordia's BFA program, with great ideas and a head for collaboration.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

A funded residency affords the resident with time, space and resources to orchestrate projects and carry out research toward these projects. The resident will be awarded a budget and given access to all of the Reading Room's facilities. All residency projects exist outside of school work and the final outcome cannot be used toward class projects.  All interested students should apply with a concrete year-long project or series of projects in mind.
