This training is offered by GradProSkills. It is only open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
Advance registration is required.
What will employers ask? How will you respond to those tough questions? It is important to know how to make the right impression! Learn what you need to know about interviewing and lower your anxiety by preparing well. You will also find out why employers screen candidates over the telephone and get tips on preparing for the telephone interview.
At this workshop, students will learn:
- What they should know before they get off the phone with an employer
- How to prepare for an interview, whether by phone or in-person
- What they should do before, during and after an interview
