As you move beyond coursework and into the research-focused phase of your PhD, maintaining momentum becomes essential. Whether you’ve recently completed milestones like submitting a research proposal, completing coursework, or other program benchmarks, this event is designed to help you navigate the path to completing your doctoral journey with greater clarity, structure, and support.

Maintaining Research Momentum offers practical strategies to stay focused, motivated, and organized as you work toward completing your dissertation.

Through workshops and peer discussion, you’ll explore topics such as:

  • Leveraging library tools and resources to strengthen your research
  • Time management and realistic dissertation planning
  • Balancing motivation, well-being, and workload
  • Strengthening communication with supervisors and committees

This event will provide space for reflection and forward planning, regardless of your discipline or where you are in your research. You’ll leave with tools to help you navigate challenges, refine your goals, and re-engage with your work.

NOTE: Morning sessions (9:00 am – 12:30 p.m.) are mandatory to attend. Lunch break and afternoon sessions are optional. The detailed schedule will be provided in the coming weeks.

Spots are limited. Register by Tuesday, September 16.
