Concordia employees are bound by laws and regulations on sharing certain information, and the responsibility to abide by the legislation is shared by the University and the individual employee.
The Privacy Office provides online and in-person privacy trainings concerning the privacy laws and regulations in Quebec that affect how public institutions like Concordia handle personal information. These laws entail significant financial penalties and reputational risks for individuals and the University if not followed, making it vital that all Concordia employees are aware of our obligations to protect the Personal Information in our care.
