Community Art Making

Take a break from your studies and spend a relaxed afternoon making something by hand. This community art-making session offers a variety of creative activities, including zine-making, postcards, bookmarks, collage, and tote bag decorating. Feel free to focus on one or explore several throughout the afternoon.

No artistic experience is required. Whether you're a seasoned art-maker or trying something creative for the first time, all materials will be provided and guidance will be available along the way. If you've always been curious about zines or handmade books, this is a great opportunity to learn the basics in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The session will be facilitated by Helia, an MFA student from Concordia's Studio Arts program, who will be happy to share ideas, techniques, and inspiration as you create.
