Decompositions, the culminating exhibition of students in the production stream of Communications Studies, will showcase a variety of works, ranging from multimedia installations and interactive soundscapes to a screening of short films.
The artists invite you to step into our built worlds and explore with us what it means to move as a collectivity, to offer and experience care, and to give attention to our bodies. The works are collaborative and interdisciplinary at their core, presenting us as video artists, musicians, sound designers, researchers, and filmmakers. As our process has been communal and community-built, we invite you to join in and experience the work with us.
Decompositions carry the bilingual meanings of breaking things down into their simplest forms and revealing infrastructure — what are the most resilient ways of making together?
