The Leadership in Environmental and Digital Innovation for Sustainability (LEADS) program is a graduate training initiative focused on developing the next generation of sustainability leaders. At the intersection of science, leadership, and digital technologies, the program equips trainees to navigate an era where tools such as artificial intelligence increasingly shape climate mitigation, climate resilience, and environmental action. Over the past five years, LEADS has offered a wide range of learning experiences, and this year marks the final chapter of the program. On this occasion, we are delighted to honor the work of returning trainees while welcoming our final cohort.

The event will open with a short introduction to the LEADS program, highlighting upcoming events, program deliverables, and opportunities for trainees. We will then move into roundtable discussions where returning trainees will present their research projects. These conversations will range from case-specific studies—such as fieldwork on capuchin monkeys—to broader explorations of the nexus between climate science and digital innovation.

Stay and participate in the Priority Table activity, creating space for networking and collective reflection on the key priorities for sustainability in the digital age in the coming years. A light lunch will also be provided for participants and attendees.

Anyone interested in learning more about LEADS, engaging with research at the intersection of sustainability and digital innovation, and connecting with this community is warmly invited to attend.

How can you participate? Join us in person by registering here or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
