The Alan Shepard Summer Residency is a 12-week District 3 program that brings together Concordia students and local organizations. Through a human-centric lens, residents research, experiment, and collaborate closely with one another to generate innovative, adoptable, and socially engaged solutions that respond to real challenges faced by our mandator organizations. Our mandates this year explored solutions in eco repurposing, empowering communities through local partnerships, reviving traditional art forms, and more. The vernissage will be celebrating and showcasing the work produced, impact created, and development of the residents.

Residents will first present a short overview of their 9 mandates. Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion where we will hear from the mandators on their experience with the residents, and the impact of the program. We will end with a moment to network and mingle with residents past and present, mandators, Concordians, and community!

How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
