Join us for an exciting exploration at the intersection of AI and education!

This event features a showcase of two podcast series focused on AI and instructional design. The first is, “Boosters and Skeptics: The Role of AI in the Lives of IDs,” is an interactive series that invites instructional designers to reflect on how AI is shaping their workplace practices. The second, “HRD: How to Respond to AI,” examines key questions about AI’s evolving role in professional environments.

In addition to the podcasts, we will offer two interactive activities that dive deeper into AI in education. The first activity uses McLuhan’s Tetrad Model of Media Effects to analyze AI tools. Participants explore what the medium enhances, what it makes obsolete, what it retrieves from the past, and what it flips into when pushed to its limits. The second activity uses The Tarot Cards of Technology, a set of thought-provoking prompts designed to encourage careful reflection on the broader impacts of technology.

Join us for a dynamic event full of critical conversations and hands-on exploration!
