In this workshop, you will be introduced to a number of ecopoems and poets, a brief history of ecopoetry, and a few writing techniques. But most importantly, this will be a space for new and seasoned writers alike to explore the themes of climate change, the environment, and eco-anxiety through free verse poetry. Hosted by the Concordia Office of Sustainability and the Community Solidarity Co-op Bookstore, this workshop aims to empower students to write about complicated topics in a low-pressure environment.
