4th Space and Indigenous Stream of the Youth Network Chair Present: Anishnabe Inakonagewin
In this panel discussion, Algonquin-Anishnabe guest speakers: Emilio Wawatie, Ryder Coté, Leona Commanda, Amy Kistabish Jerome, and Savanna McGregor will discuss the various aspects intertwined within Indigenous governance, and their experiences engaging and navigating within this paradigm. Similar values and principles resonate with nations across Turtle Island ranging from: ceremony, culture, citizenship, the environment, sustainability, education and language.
Anishnabe constitutional values are directly linked to observations and education learned from nature and its seasonal changes. This conversation will focus on the Algonquin-Anishnabe youth perspectives of navigating these values within a modern context.
How can you participate? Attend in person (note, we can accommodate up to 30 audience members comfortably in the space) or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
