Catherine Russell, Haidee Wasson
This event is free.
Online
In 2018, Concordia professor Catherine Russell was honoured with the University’s highest form of recognition for overall research achievements by being recognized as a Distinguished University Research Professor (DURP). Bringing together experimental film with more documentarian ethnographic work — usually seen as polar opposites within the film world — Russell pushes film studies and visual anthropology forward as fields of study.
Join Professor Haidee Wasson as she engages Russell about her illustrious career and research portfolio. Paula Wood-Adams, Interim Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, will offer opening remarks to launch this conversation.
How can you participate? Attend the discussion in person (note, there is a maximum of 25 audience members permitted in the space) or online by registering for the Zoom webinar or watching live on our YouTube channel.
