The workshop “Black Identity and Belonging in Higher Education” is designed to help students understand, explore, and affirm their Black identity within the university context.

Its purpose is to:

- Provide a space for Black students to reflect on their experiences, challenges, and strengths in higher education.
- Highlight barriers to belonging, such as microaggressions, underrepresentation, and institutional bias.
- Foster strategies for empowerment and community-building among students.
- Encourage students to recognize their role in creating inclusive spaces and supporting one another on campus.
