Navigating your Positionality

Positionality, also called “social location”, is the concept that our perspectives are based on our place in society. It recognizes that where you stand in relation to others shapes what we can see and understand. 

This workshop will ask participants to consider how their social location impacts their understanding of those with whom they work and teach.
