In this workshop, you will learn about the nature and types of procrastination and the connection between procrastination and difficulty in emotional regulation. You will also learn some evidence-based strategies to overcome procrastination, including self-regulation and emotion regulation techniques.

Learning objectives:

  • Define and identify different types of procrastination
  • Understand procrastination through the self-regulation failure model
  • Adopt effective and evidence-based strategies to address procrastination
  • Become aware of different resources to cope with procrastination
