Join us for a conversation with Marc G. Séguin, author of Advocacy in Aging — a book about estate and healthcare planning for the living years — and learn how to build a team to help you navigate unplanned life transitions.

Adult children, parents, and friends support each other through life transitions, positive and difficult, planned or unplanned. Parents wish to support their children through the good as well as challenging times. Children want to be ready to support their parents through natural aging, life events, or illness.

Marc will present and explain the PACT (Plan-Activate-Communicate-Transition) planning framework; you'll learn how it will allow you to live with peace of mind, knowing your affairs are well organized, communicated and ready for transition to trusted advocates.

By planning for the unplanned and building a team of advocates, it is possible to ensure continuity and consistency in financial affairs and personal care.

This event is sponsored by Catherine Lach of BMO Private Wealth.

Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Advocacy in Aging.

After a successful career launching and commercializing innovations in telecom and entrepreneurial start-ups, Marc G. Séguin turned his attention to the challenges of financial and personal care management for seniors.

He has helped many families including his own, plan for and deal with the inevitable changes in life that aging brings.

These experiences have led him to crystallize an approach, in everyday language, to maintaining continuity in financial affairs and personal care.

Marc, a father of 3 boys, and grandfather, lives in Ottawa with his wife of 35 years. He is an avid skier and loves the outdoors.
