Renu is an experienced leader in Regulatory Affairs with extensive experience in drug development ranging from pre-clinical to commercial in oncology (immuno-oncology and cellular therapy).
In her current role at Kite, Renu is responsible for the global strategies to develop and gain regulatory approval for the cell therapy portfolio. She is a member of the Gilead SoCal Board for Women, co-lead for the Women at Gilead Circles Group, and is a member of several industry trade associations. As a healthcare executive working in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years, Renu has had the honor of mentoring various colleagues in her career and would value the opportunity to contribute to others interested in the healthcare industry or who aspire to work in this area.
In addition to being a core member of teams executing on the development, registration and commercialization strategies for several programs, she served on due diligence teams in the evaluation of potential business development opportunities and was part of multiple Joint Steering committees with external partners providing strategic input on key development programs.
