Astronaut for a Day is a full-day, non-profit educational event designed to inspire youth through hands-on, interactive workshops that simulate different aspects of astronaut training. The program includes five core components: science training, space robotics, physical training, space medicine, and space navigation. Our goal is to make space education both accessible and affordable while providing students with meaningful exposure to space-related careers.

Hosted by Zenith Pathways in collaboration with SEDs Canada, this full-day event gives students in Grades 5–8 the chance to experience astronaut-style training through hands-on activities in robotics, space medicine, planetary science, space navigation, and more, alongside guest speakers from the space industry.

After the incredible response from last year’s event at the University of Toronto, the organizers are excited to bring it back this July at Concordia University and continue inspiring the next generation of space enthusiasts.
