Join the artists of IGNITION for a commented tour of the exhibition at 4:30 PM followed by an opening reception at 5:30 PM. Refreshments will be served. This free event will be presented in French and English.
The Gallery presents the 21st edition of its annual exhibition IGNITION. It features new work by students currently enrolled in the Studio Arts or Humanities graduate programs at Concordia University.
This year the exhibition was co-curated by Florent To Lay, Independent Curator and Executive and Artistic Director of SKOL, and Nicole Burisch, Director of LBEAG.
The selected artists are Loïc Chauvin, Clara Congdon, Geneviève Dagenais, Hazel May Eckert, Melanie Garcia, Daniel Gillberg, ro heinrich, Sam Lee, and Prune Paycha.
IGNITION 21 is presented at the Gallery from May 13 to June 13, 2026.

La Galerie présente la 21e édition de son exposition annuelle IGNITION. Celle-ci met en valeur le travail d’étudiants terminant leur maîtrise en "Studio Arts" et au doctorat en "Humanities" à l’Université Concordia.
Cette année l'exposition a été commissariée par Florent To Lay, commissaire indépendant et directeur général et artistique du Centre des arts actuels SKOL, et Nicole Burisch, directrice de la GLBE.
Les artistes sélectionné·e·s sont Loïc Chauvin, Clara Congdon, Geneviève Dagenais, Hazel May Eckert, Melanie Garcia, Daniel Gillberg, ro heinrich,Sam Lee et Prune Paycha.
L’exposition IGNITION 21 est présentée en galerie du 13 mai au 13 juin 2026.
