This workshop aims to introduce oral historians to the basics of audio recording. While familiarizing ourselves with the equipment and what it has to offer, we will explore how to set up the audio equipment for interviews, what to consider when using recorders and other best practices to ensure a seamless recording experience. Participants will have time to practice the material covered.
