The Climate Business Institute, John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, invites you to attend its “Sustainability in Business” conference on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the John Molson School of Business (1450 Guy Street, 9th floor).
We will host two panels in the afternoon, from 3 to 5 p.m., designed for the business community, on the topic of financing food security systems at the 50th parallel and beyond. Each 45-minute panel will include time for Q&A.
Panel 1: Building fresh food systems in Grand Nord
The panel will discuss the price of food, emissions, product freshness and how to attract investors and financing with blended finance.
Panel 2: Sustainable financing
The panel will discuss sustainable financing including communities-designed instruments developed for financing initiatives in local communities.
