When Baroque style meets oriental rhythms, when classical Italian love poems intertwine with the ritual poems of the Book of Odes, this concert is a musical journey offered with passion by art lovers. It is also a touching retrospective and a forward-looking reflection on nearly ten years of joy for the Montreal Hua Xia Philharmonic Art Troupe

This is the third edition of this charity concert for the Montreal Hua Xia Philharmonic Art Troupe from its conception to its realization. The first two editions were a great success, and all proceeds are donated to local aid organizations and charities. This initial desire to convey warmth through music reinforces the Hua Xia Philharmonic Art Troupe's determination in its artistic approach: each performance is not only an explosion of sound, but also a message of love.

Ten years have passed in the blink of an eye, but the music still resonates. The Hua Xia Philharmonic Art Troupe has existed for almost ten years. Over the past decade, a group of passionate art lovers, who were strangers to one another, have forged connections through music. From their hesitant beginnings to their current confidence, from scattered efforts to a complete ensemble, they have woven a tapestry of cultural nostalgia for the Chinese diaspora through song and dance, throughout Montreal's musical seasons. This perseverance is a testament to their passion.

The Hua Xia Philharmonic Art Troupe creates bonds between friends through music. Although its members are not professional musicians, they are fortunate to receive invaluable instruction from their classically trained teachers. Driven by their passion, they dedicate themselves fully to their craft; guided by their respect, they allow themselves no complacency. Ten years does not mark an end, but the beginning of a new era for music. Not striving for perfection but aiming for excellence: this is not only a joyful singing experience, but also a journey toward excellence.

We invite you to join this sonic voyage that transcends time and space, East and West – let the music shine, let the love resonate.
