Nuit blanche - ONF/NFB
Concordia University students are collaborating with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) on Re:Archive, an interactive installation presented as part of Montreal’s 23rd Nuit blanche.
The participatory work invites audiences at the annual overnight arts festival to remix and reimagine footage from the NFB’s archives. The project was developed with the participation of students from Concordia’s Film and Moving Image Studies and Curatorial Studies and Practices programs, both within the Faculty of Fine Arts. Students from Concordia’s Faculty of Fine Arts revisit and activate archival NFB materials for the occasion, while students from the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Music, will provide live musical performances throughout the evening.
Join them on Saturday, February 28, at the NFB’s space, for this festive evening of free activities, including Re:Archive.
