Law meets engineering lecture series

Concordia Jurist-in-Residence Morton Minc is hosting a series of law-related lectures given by prominent speakers geared to all Gina Cody School students. These lectures will tackle topics that will be very useful in their professional lives.

Biographies

Pamela McGovern has over 40 years in law including Partner, General counsel at Hydro Quebec and currently, Secretary and Director legal services at l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. She has authored shareholder and management communications, legal opinions as well as professional publications. Me McGovern is President of several non-profit boards and Chair of a University Foundation.

Marie-Julie Gravel currently serves as a Conseillère à la prévention de la pratique illégale at the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, a position she has held since November 2017. Bringing close to two decades of diverse experience, she has demonstrated her expertise across several renowned companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Energizer, Edgewell Personal Care, and Pharmascience. Her educational background is rooted in chemical engineering, holding both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Polytechnique Montréal.
