Session 1: Witnessing and Naming

Listen. Reflect. Come begin.

Through conversation, photography, and a short documentary on the Women’s Boxing Club in Gaza, we will explore how sport and art speak to life itself.

Discipline. Vulnerability. Resistance. Tenderness. Survival. No expertise required — only presence. This is a space to witness, to name, and to think together.

This student-led series is grounded in the belief that art and sport are not only practices, but spaces we build—spaces that can hold, shape, and connect us.

Through three sessions combining discussion, visual storytelling, documentary screening, and hands-on creation, participants are invited to reflect on how bodies, images, and collective effort can become ways of witnessing, empowering and existing together.

No prior experience is required.

Food and refreshments will be served.

Participants who attend and complete a short survey will receive $25 as a token of appreciation.
