Pre-Texts is a methodology that integrates literature, innovation, and civic engagement to achieve strong impact at very low cost.

Students at all grade levels develop and strengthen literacy skills by interpreting texts through the creation of diverse forms of art.

Transforming challenging texts into artistic productions, this innovative pedagogy, developed by Professor Doris Sommer, combines cognitive and socioemotional development and has demonstrated measurable gains in reading comprehension and mental health.

Through art, learning becomes an engaging and life-affirming experience.
